Thanks to everyone for their input on the bent rudder horn. Thx especially
to Glover for telling us what's available from NVAero including the billet
machined upgrade part. Good to know.
I checked with Rob's suggestion to contact Wicks; they only have the 6063
material and they checked & confirmed it does have the non-radiused inner
corner angles.
I did put in a quotation request with an aviation materials metal firm and
am awaiting their reply.
Larry's question about the control stops is right on the money; there are no
stops installed at the input-end of the control loop. So if the horn failed
due to too much input pressure, installing stops may be the next best
solution. If I could get under the header tank that is...
