Some scales can be a bit sensitive to side loads when weighing. If that's the case, it's common practice to use two plates on each scale with some grease between the plates. a.k.a. grease plates. That way there are no side loads. Don't know if these scales will be sensitive to side loads or not. Depends on the scale design.
