Weather finally cooperated today and I got some high speed runs in today. Could fly tomorrow but I am a bit concerned as I seem to have no mixture control on the EFS-3A. I pull full lean and it will not kill the engine. Just leans it a bit. Anyone seen this symptom? Can you kill the engine with the mixture? I also have a some roughness from 1000 to 1500 rpm. Still diagnosing but I think it may be time for a rebuild as I believe it has been on the plane since 2005. Had a few other minor issues but she wanted to lift off at 60 so I stayed below that. Handling was easy and I am ready to fly if I can get this Ellison issue figured out.
