If what I said before didn't mean anything to you, I'm not sure there's anything else I could say. One thing might be the same reason that I'm opposed to almost any installation of a transplanted water cooled automotive engine, which is you become the "cooling engineer". The layout of the cooling system is very tricky to prevent pockets of steam that obstruct the flow of coolant....usually on climbout on your very first flight, giving you barely enough time to get it back on the ground before it seizes, with boiling water spewing all over the windshield, and leaving no time to get more familiar with the plane before your first forced landing.

Yes, I'm a pessimist, but I've earned the right to be. And I've read a lot stories in Contact Magazine of first flights of home brewed water cooled automotive engines, and many follow the narrative above. I don't know if Rotaxes come assembled with the cooling system in place or not, but I suspect for each plane they have a cooling system layout that's recommended and followed by smart builders. I hope you can find a Wasserboxer headed engine that's proven to be flying on a KR, and best of luck to your effort. Far be it from me to discourage true experimental efforts. Let us know how it works for you...
