I found this engine locally, and it seems like it would be a good candidate
engine for my prospective KR2S build.
I'm soliciting input from the group about what you think. I posted a message
earlier but it hasn't appeared on the list for some reason? Would this be as
good or better performance than the Corvair engine?
Below is from the advertisement for it. Note that this is supposed to be a
good engine and another engine for parts, less carb and exhaust.

"I have two Lycoming 0-235-C model engines for sale. One is a possible
usable engine for homebuilt, light sport aircraft. The other is for parts
only. The most complete engine has everything except for the carburator, it
has slick mags installed, and should be rebuildable. There are NO PAPERS
INCLUDED WITH THESE ENGINES. They are both on stands w/wheels. The prop is
not included in the sale."

This is from Wikipedia:
"O-235-C1C
Power 108 hp (81 kW) at 2600 rpm, dry weight 243 lb (110 kg) Similar to
O-235-C1 except with Slick magnetos."

I've not heard back from the owner yet to my enquiry yet...hope it is still
for sale!
