As mentioned by a couple of people on here, the 1/4" nylaflow tubing has a lot of expansion when under pressure and sacrifices a great deal of brake pressure to tube expansion. I have changed over 6 planes from 1/4" to 3/16" nylaflow tubing with significant improvement in brake function. Those include my KR with Cleveland brakes, another KR with Matco brakes, my Avid Flyer and another Avid Flyer, both with Matco Brakes, my SuperCub with Clevelands and a GlasAir Super 2 with Clevelands. All had excellent results with very good brake action following the change to the smaller tubing for the brake lines.
FWIW, the 11x4x5 tires fit the 5:00x 5 rims, regardless of the manufacturer. -Jeff Scott Los Alamos, NM
