I have a standard KR2S. I agree with all about the narrow hip space, but
as I am not a large person (68" 180lbs) I haven't run into trouble yet with
width. When I bought it it was a little tight in the headroom area, but we
tilted the seat back some by moving the top seat supports about 3 inches
aft. This gave me more than enough headroom, and somehow resulted in more
knee to panel clearance also. Not to mention the original more vertical
seat got uncomfortable on the back after an hour and a half. I did numerous
3 hour legs flying from Georgia to Washington State, and was very
comfortable with the new, slightly more reclined, position. It's easy to suit
yourself.

Think about headroom as well...some people have
their height in the legs while others of the same height, have shorter
legs
but longer torsos causing heads to squish against the canopy. Moving the
seat bottom down to the base of the aft spar or raising the turtledeck are
2
ways around this.
