Thanks, Jim. There is a flight school about an hour from me that
offers tail wheel training in a Cessna 152 (converted). I'm due for a
BFR anyway, so I'm going to see if I can work something out with them,
and it will give me an opportunity to try it out.

I've been told the Glasair with TD gear is a handful (feet full??) when
landing, and it is not uncommon for someone to convert their newly built
TD into a tricycle FT within the first couple of years. Having no
experience with a KR, I have no idea if it would be similar.

Supposing for the sake or argument that I buy a TD KR, and don't like
it. Is the nosegear conversion still available from Diehl? How
difficult and how much time would it take to convert to FT gear?

Thanks,

-Dj
