Go to http://www.corvaircraft.com/ , dodging all the popups, and then check Corvair Engine Codes. You want a 1965 or later 95hp or 110hp NONsmog engine. Make sure it has the right heads on it, so take a look at the Corvair Head Codes too. Print them out and carry them with you on your search, because the heads are key. The ones in blue are OK, most others are not. If you're going to build a Corvair engine, I strongly suggest you join the CorvAircraft list, which is also run by me, so it's a lot like this one. Send an email to corvaircraft-j...@mylist.net and reply to the confirmation email and you'll be there. And as was mentioned, you do need to buy WW's Corvair Conversion manual, which you can find at www.flycorvair.com . Lots of folks have gone out to buy an engine and bought the wrong one (as in totally unusable) and THEN bought the manual to find that out...
