I am proud to announce that I have logged 10 hours on Shrek now and that flying
the fast little KR2 is very exiting. I am going to increase the weight in the
passenger seat until I feel comfortable to take a real person. At the moment
the P-Prop is giving me the fast cruise (150 to 160mph) that I am looking for
but the climb out with no passenger and full tank is only between 600 and 700
ft pet min. at 1400 ft above sea level. The C of G calculations will allow me
more than the registered all-up weight allows for a pasanger. I find no
problems with cross wind landings and the wheelers are also easy due to the
flat approach. Although everything happens at double the speed in the KR2 I
find it easier to fly than my friends Busbaby (Kitfox 2). I made two flights to
other airfields, it was eventless and a lot of fun.

So a word of comfort to all of you that are thinking of converting to a KR2 it
is really not as difficult to fly as everybody said.
