My KR has no scoop on top and when taxiing, I can see nothing over the top of the cowling except sky. But, I don't recommend the scoop either.

The KR2 has limited vision over the top of the cowlling and the air scoop makes it much worse, when taxiing I could see nothing in front with the air scoop.
