Hi Chris My method is a 7 1/4 miter saw with a 40 toothbladed the greater number of teeth would be better. I cut very slowly I place a piece of scrap timber over the top when cutting flat bar aluminum. If you use a cutting disk then use aluminum specific disk these usually have blue writing on them.
