The main gear and brakes are "borrowed" from the Jabiru. The main gear bolts on 
to the same points as the old retractable gear.  Very happy with the gear 
though I'm extending the brackets 100mm (4 inches) to raise the nose even more 
(cannot see the strip in front anyway :-), the reason is that to 3 point stall 
onto the ground I nearly always touch tail wheel first, also it will allow me 
to fare in the gear better.

The problem with the brakes is in the geometry of the toe brakes, as the is not 
enough room for them to operate properly.  I need to move the peddles back 
towards the seat and I already don't have enough leg room.  My plan is to have 
one more try at the geometry and if that fails then to make 2 hand brake levers 
between my legs in front of the main spare, I have a center stick.
