Larry and all, Even though I'm a smaller person, the thought of checking and re-rigging the rudder controls at or before an annual didn't seem to be something that I looked forward to doing. Standing on my head under the instrument panel isn't one of those things that rate on my fun meter. So I made a compromise: weight vs accessability and ease of maintenance. Considering that I had put the rest of my KR on a serious diet, adding a couple of turnbukles for ease of adjustment didn't seem to be a bad way to go. (remember my turtledeck weighed half of the RR part).

The second turnbuckle is just unnecessary weight. Those half a pound here, half a pound there items, is where 750 pound KRs (like mine) come from. :-) Larry Flesner _______________________________________ Search the KRnet Archives at http://www.maddyhome.com/krsrch/index.jsp to UNsubscribe from KRnet, send a message to krnet-le...@mylist.net please see other KRnet info at http://www.krnet.org/info.html Scott Cable Jamestown, ND s2cab...@yahoo.com --------------------------------- Yahoo!
