I second that, I bolted 2 small aluminum brackets to the aft side of the firewall, just inbd of the spruce frame. I attached two pulleys (MS24566-2B) and ran a short length of cable fwd from the rudder pedals and connected them in the center with a turn buckle. Turn buckles were how the 3/32nd rudder cables were terminated at the pedals. I also terminated the aft ends on the control horn with turnbuckles and cut a 6 inch hole to allow inspection and rigging access. I spent a great deal of time checking and rigging and balancing the controls for my KR-2S, The stick and pedals worked absolutely free (like cuttin butta). Take your time and do it right.
