One of the first things I learned when dealing with T-88 is that it is slippery stuff, and likes to slide around when you're not looking. My cure was to match drill to holes for push pins at diagonally opposite corners of the work, other otherwise immobilize it somehow with small nails to keep it from sliding around. That won't happen to you but one time before you learn that lesson though!
