I used water when I first installed my pump and it worked fine. Just get
all the water out so nothing inside the pump rusts, if there is any steel in
there.

Subject: RE: KR> Facet Pumps

I have tried pouring gasoline down the line and it just dribbles through.
Tonight, I was using water to avoid the stink of the fuel as I had to be
inside. One time I tried the liquid above the pumps and another time I tried
it below the pumps.

They are described as self priming.

I do remember the clacking sound of the pump that I had on my first KR and
this does not sound like that at all.

I will try the battery tomorrow as this is a cheap charger.

Thanks for all the input. I will let you know how it goes.
