I really like the regular meter movements a lot better than the LEDs. You
can fine tune the mixture better with one. Westach built me one into a
custom quad gauge for a very reasonable price. They also make a round
analog mixture gauge that is about 2" diameter. I had one while my quad was
being made. It was something like 40 bucks. It is going into Colin's plane
now.

Yep, we don't need the heater. The heater versions (so-called "three wire")
are to heat up the sensor quickly to stabilize the idle on injected car
engines. We don't have that problem, so the single wire for $30 or so is
all we need.

I have an official Cyberdyne 2.25" automotive meter that I paid probably 40
bucks for a few years ago (I don't think the company is around anymore), but
I found a guy on the internet who cooks up one just like it but in the form
of a segmented LED, in three colors (green in the middle, yellow outboard,
and red outboard from there) for twenty five bucks. I'll probably cut a
rectangular hole for it next to my similar looking trim indicator, and put
my g-meter back where the round mixture meter is. I've asked him if he'd be
interested in making more of them for other NetHeads, and he's thinking
about it...
