This is a good point. While polyurethane foams can be cut with a hot wire, it would be inadvisable to do so without very good ventilation and breathing apparatus as they do release copious amounts of poisonous fumes. One thing to watch out for is just how fast that 2 part expanding foam takes off, a little goes a looooong way. If you really want a good laugh, mix 200ml (8Oz) of each in an ice cream bucket and put it on the floor of an old car (with windows intact) and shut the door.... Cheers.
