Mark
My dad and I visited Neil at his hangar in Borego springs Ca. in the late
90s At that time he had a Kr 1 about 90% complete and a glassair on the
gear. I seem to remember that his home was in Laguna Beach Ca. My dad is a
friend of his so I will see if he has the current info and pass it on. The
Kr 1 was an amazing plane It had dynamically balanced elevators, a
removable turtle deck, a model A fuel gage and a ford tractor carburetor
which Neil had modified to make in flight mixture control possible. That
visit was the day my dads Project in the garage became the Kr we were
building together.
thanks
