I recall the seller in the original post indicated he had purchased
the plans several years ago and had never started constructon.
That was the info on which I based my comments.  You are
right, the purchase of a set of plans allows for the constructon
of one aircraft.  I doubt if anyone would ever be challenged on
building more but it wouldn't be legally "playing fair" with the
designer.
