Dean, there are no rules saying you can not sell your plans. It is unfortunate your dream has to end this way. My wife was totally against it also five years ago when I started my project but she has come to understand my love for my hobby. Plus I always used the scenario that "at least your husband is at home and not running around bar hopping like a lot of your friend's husbands do". That always made her stop and think about it. Now she actually gets out there and helps when I need her to. Anyway, if you do sell your plans, you should at least report the sale to Jeannette Rand so she can update her records.
