Mark, There is a teflon coating available at some of the powder coating shops that should work. They use it up here in the oil patch on nuts and bolts, and other applications, in corrosive environments. It enables nuts to be removed whereas previously a cutting torch was the only solution. I had some 4130 bushing coated with the stuff, it's called "dryfilm" on the bill and it is very thin.
