Are you using the new airfoil? If you are, then your rudder post will be 34" s above the top longeron or about 44" total. After discussions with Mark L. I raise my rudder post up to 40"s making the rudder 50"s overall. I also extended the horizontal surface outward. Full width is now 84"s. Elevator has remained the same depth. I'm sure there is some argument about width vs depth because the square inch factor would probably be the same. Wider and narrower made more sense to me in relation to pitch input.
