Diehl skins are bonded to 100% of the spar surface, top and bottom, both spars. For those that have not built the wood/foam/ glass KR wing before, you're making this way too complicated. The stock KR wing is strong and easy to build. Don't waste precious building time trying to re-engineer it and end up with a totally unknown component. I don't see where building with either all wood , all metal, or a combination of materials is going to be any stronger or easier to build. Just my opinion......... Larry Flesner
