Hmmm, one other interesting thing I see on the Ifly web site is that they have a multi platform upgrade for only $19.95 that will allow use on 3 devices so I could use it on my Android phone and an Ipad if I wanted. So many choices!

I think it will work on more than apple, you can pay a small fee and have it work on maybe three devices, and get a complete IFR data base for $109 a year. Dan Heath has the weather module for $400 or so. That should give you everything you need at reasonable cost. The IFLY is a complete "sectional" overlay. I think it's great software.
