I knew that they had a popular GPS.  I didn't realize that they had a
tablet version out now.  Looks like their software is also compatible
with the Navworks and SkyRadar ADS that the EFIS will work with.

Thanks for the tip, and thanks to the others that also recommended
programs that should work.  Time for yet another round of downloading
demos to see what I like.

Check out the "Airventure IFLY" system. I think it will work on more 
than apple, you can pay a small fee and have it work on maybe three 
devices, and get a complete IFR data base for $109 a year. Dan Heath 
has the weather module for $400 or so. That should give you 
everything you need at reasonable cost. The IFLY is a complete 
"sectional" overlay. I think it's great software.
