Use the static / pitot suggested in the plans and take all the engineering and guesswork out of the installation. I used that system and I'm not sure how you could design a system to be more accurate. Just be sure to locate it outside the prop wash. Mine is 12 inches or so out in the root of the left outer wing. It is very simple to fabricate. Larry Flesner
