I tried four different places on N56ML, and eventually settled on a location
I saw on a Commander...about 18" back from the firewall, about three inches
below the longeron, two holes, one located on each side of the fuselage,
joined with a tee in the middle leading to the static line that fed the
instruments.  This location was perfect for my plane.  I didn't use rivets,
but that would have worked just as well, I'm sure.
