If Kubuntu : - do not know that digiKam (note the 'K' inside) have been updated this summer to 5.0.0 after 2 years of vigorous development. - do not know that digiKam is hosted by KDE project. - do not know that digiKam is based and use KF5 frameworks. ... well, you can leave quickly this Linux distribution...
