--- Comment #4 from sparhawk <kdeb...@plast.id.au> --- > There hasn't been any changes to the image/slideshow wallpaper "plugin" since > April. As per comment 1 and comment 2, there might be something antagonistic with other plasmoids… so perhaps it's not just the slideshow "plugin" by itself. > Hmm, is your slideshow image on another drive? Is the partition NTFS or ...? > Does selecting a slideshow on the same drive also have high CPU? I have an SDD and spindle HDD on my laptop. (Most of the) system is on the SDD and the wallpapers are on the HDD. It's all ext4. I tried changing the wallpaper directory to the SDD, but I still get the high CPU. > Did Qt update too? What's your Qt version? Yes, it did. qt5-base (5.8.0-12 -> 5.9.0-2) In fact the following packages all updated to 5.9.0-1. qt5-base qt5-xmlpatterns qt5-declarative qt5-multimedia qt5-speech qt5-x11extras qt5-script qt5-svg qt5-webchannel qt5-location qt5-webengine qt5-quickcontrols qt5-sensors qt5-webkit qt5-tools qt5-graphicaleffects qt5-imageformats qt5-quickcontrols2 I can test reverting these if you think it's helpful. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
