There's the big question: How?
I know it has to be easy, straightforward, etc etc etc - but .. I haven't
the foggiest where to start, or HOW to start, short of coming up with
some idea of my own and fumblingly inventing a way to make it something.
Places I've looked for some bright ideas - or for a guide to where else to
look - have been generally offputting or unhelpful. So.. I'm put off the
idea.
You might try looking at www.linux.org. On the left is a projects button.
I don't know how up to date it is, but many projects are listed along with
enough information to contact the people involved.
