it is the most condescending, egomaniacal, offensive, ignorant piece of crap
i've seen in a loooong time. Apparently, attractive women are fake and
stupid and don't like sex. Geek women don't pay enough attention to their
Man. Geek men want a comeback of the traditional woman who cooks and
massages. Geek men don't want to talk to their significant others about
their work - they do this with male friends. And so on and so on. What a
piece of garbage. I can't believe that's not obvious to everyone.

I don't know if I can even go to slashdot anymore.

I mean that was so silly, and laughable...Oh High Holy Beings: "Well y'know there are some subject, which cast a fog over the mind of humans, causes them to write ADVICE TO THE LOVELORN..."

Note the article above it is actually interesting. The one about profiling high school students and trying to use software to predict "Violent Youth..." This is linux related, many of us, were loners, strange people etc. in our youth. Some of us are just the same in our latter years. So that is an interesting issue. Along with what happens to outsiders etc. We just weren't able to adjust to the high school pack mentality etc.

Also it brings up another question: "What does one feel is questionable use of our technological creativity..." I mean if someone wanted to use linux to speed up finding "violent youth" , "questionable offenders of some law" etc.

Slashdot does require Dramamine and something stronger on many occasions. That's why I am here and not there overall. I occasion look and gasp. Sometimes they come up with useful stuff. Dramamine(dimenhydrinate) is an anti-nauseant, for those outside of the US Marketing Reach.:)

Have Fun,
Sends Steve
