Hey Evan,

Well, I know it is suppose to go high when it gets close to your
player but I think it was a little higher pitched than usual.  It
almost sounded as if the sound was replaced but I'm pretty sure it
wasn't.  I think the bullet hit sound also sounded weird.

Again, I'm not entirely convinced the issue is ioquake3.  It wasn't
terribly distracting either.
