Why not just merge in all the useful stuff from both into io1uake3, and make ioQuake3 compatible with rtcw and wolf:et? -----Original Message----- Date: Thursday, August 12, 2010 6:31:11 pm To: ioquake3@lists.ioquake.org From: gillou....@free.fr Subject: Re: [ioquake3] ET & RTCW Open-Source!

This is great news indeed! I thought you were talking about ETQW, but it's only (but good enough) ET _Wolfstein_. These games are based on ID Tech 3, just like Quake 3, which is already open-source. Quake 3 was releashed in 1999, RTCW in 2001 and ET in 2003. Had ID really improved their v3 engine during these 4 years? -- gillux Cannot display content-type 'APPLICATION/PGP-SIGNATURE'_______________________________________________ ioquake3 mailing list ioquake3@lists.ioquake.org http://lists.ioquake.org/listinfo.cgi/ioquake3-ioquake.org By sending this message I agree to love ioquake3 and libsdl. _______________________________________________ ioquake3 mailing list ioquake3@lists.ioquake.org http://lists.ioquake.org/listinfo.cgi/ioquake3-ioquake.org By sending this message I agree to love ioquake3 and libsdl.
