Hi Folks! > The objective of the Linux users meeting as I understand is a meeting of > Linux enthusiast, sharing their experience and helping in increasing the > common knowledge of the community.
Just increasing the common knowledge of the community should not be the ONLY goal ... I mean ... praising/discussing Linux in front of an already Linux-Savvy group does help in sharing the knowlegde ... but does not potentially indicate an "increasing" number of Linux users. What I intend to say is that ... a theme should be set for LUG meets and loss of focus should be avoided i.e. the theme could as well be "Breaking into innocent and un-assuming non-Linux PC users at night and installing Linux on their boxes at gun-point" ... but in that, only points valid to the topic should be discussed such as in this case could be "now which lawyer should be hired in-case we do get caught and how to convince that lawyer into using Linux so that he understands our cause (and contests our case in lieu of a better compiler rather than money) ?"
