Subject: [ilugd]: gtk , kylix or qt

Hi,

This is in continuation of my earlier mail where I asked
about having a web-based (PHP) for some of the commands.

I am keen on having a front-end for some of my frequently used commands.
I am a system administrator and sometimes it's tedious to remember &
type all the command line parameters for the various commands. So, one
of my co-workers has offered to develop a very rudimentary but
functional front-end integrating most of the commands I need.

The question now is: since a web-based solution has been vetoed as not a
very good idea, what is? How would you rate a GTK based tool? What about
QT, Kylix etc? Any help in this regard would be appreciated.

Thanks & Regards,
Bishan
