Hello, I am having a P-133 running Linux and I was using it for last 5 years. I want to upgrade the h/w for new distributions, but find it is not possible. So I am going for a new PC (CPU,M/B,RAM,Cabinet only) I had a thought of trying out AMD. But in Dehradun there is little support for AMD. Also PC assemblers are extinct species these days, they all sell branded PCs only. I hope Delhi is better off with AMD. I would like to know about Linux support for AMD Athlon and a good M/Board for it. Does Athlon XP makes any difference over Athlon as far as Linux is concerned? Also can any one of you help me to get an Athlon 1700+ with 256MB 266MHz DDR SDRAM and a good M/Board?
