You can call me at 9811066460 if you need any help. Basically we need
the following:
2-3 computers to play around with. I they already have some form of
Linux loaded, great. If they can be reinstalled, even better.
A white board, pens that work and a duster.
Enough seating for 30+ people.
Decent airconditioning :-)
A 'net connection.
A VGA-connect OHP and white screen if one is available.
A CD writer where people can make copies easily. I'll get Ghane's
CD's with me.
Blank CD's. You may charge anything reasonable for the medium and the
cost of acquiring them (auto fare to NP amortised over multiple CD's,
etc ;-) I'll buy any blanks you have left over. I personally had good
results with the 25-pack of Samsung 16X CD's that comes in a round
screw-top box, costs Rs. 425 or so.
Ease of access to water, tea, coffee, etc.
A phone to order pizza from, or a nearby shop selling nice hot samosas
and kachoris ;-)
Some place outside the airconditioning where the smokers can light up
and puff away without bothering the others.
Would all this be doable?
