Raj, folks, Shipped via Fedex today, http://www.fedex.com/cgi-bin/tracking?tracknumbers=826544365 732&action=track&language=english&state=0&cntry_code=sg&mps= y
to Raj's address, 10-odd CDs. Most are Debian 3.0 i386 non-US Disk 1, some Disk 2, as well as an OpenOffice 1.0.1 for Linux binary & source. Could not find a canonical .RPM or .deb. Also included is Knoppix 2.2, a live CD which is, well, fantabulous. Try it out. In general, I can send off some CDs each month, general conditions: 1 Must be GPL, or compliant to distribution. Non-negotiable. I do not care if it is free, downloadable, etc, it MUST allow me to re-distribute. 2 Please send me a URL to the actual download, or at least something close. I no longer use Linux on my desktop, and no longer follow Linux "bleeding edge" as part of my work. It is quite likely that I may not be aware of the application you are talking about. Request is english will be appreciated, too. Raj, I did not have your phone number, so they may not attempt Saturday delivery. However, if you call Fedex at 011-6285911, and tell them the package number (826544365732), they will deliver. BTW, why, why, why, will idiots give their number as 011-6285911? What is the '0' for? I regularly call Delhi, and never dial it. You call Delhi and never dial it. Ditto for 0091-11-6285911. -- Sanjeev ----- Original Message ----- From: "Raju Mathur" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "Sanjeev "Ghane" Gupta" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Friday, August 30, 2002 11:16 AM Subject: Re: Fwd: Re: [ilugd]: (fwd) here it comes!@#$! > BTW, if you haven't already shipped can you also cut a CD with > OpenOffice sources and RPMs and DEBs and send that too?
