Hi, We had one of these beasts. As far as I can recall, there is a problem with the availability of the consumables (toner and other things), You also have to have special ventilation because it produces a lot of waste.
In order to use it with z/OS, you need PSF. It can be connected using FICON or TCP/IP. I always preferred TCP/IP since it's easier to set up.
