Just remember FTP from the command line does NOT do TLS security - this may 
cause you problems.

This is what I would recommend as the first step but if this doesn't uncover 
your problem, then you could try FileZilla debug and review its log. Be sure to 
backup & restore the FileZilla config to ensure debug settings didn't modify 
something you turning off debug does not restore.
