Hi list, We have a Cobol/VSAM/CICS+batch application that the developers want to convert the Cobol/VSAM part to Java/Db2, still residing on the mainframe. I have java 8 (both 31 bit and 64 bit) as well as java 11 and 17 on the mainframe - the parts that are "no additional cost" with z/OS 3.1. Is this all I need to develop java applications on the MF or are there additional java compilers or other pieces that I would need to purchase to make this a viable option? At this point the only java we use is what IBM ships ( like SCRT).
