I am trying to define what is needed to support a DS8* on a zPDT (no, the hardware will never be connected - just to try to simulate an issue).
I read the manuals and it appears that switches and control units must be defined (used 2107-IBM). I then defined the dasd as 3380-CJ2 and connected it to the two switches. But when I tried to build the production IODF I got W CBDG061I Switch control unit must be defined for switch 04. W CBDG061I Switch control unit must be defined for switch 05. I am guessing that the 2107-IBM is not correct. What would be correct?
