IMHO, 1. Show bt full not just bt. 2. File the bug report into the bugtracker, provide bt full output there and possibly attach binary and core together with detailed system description. I'm not the Cfengine developer, but at the first glance it looks to me like the static buffer outside mutex lock overwritten somewhere in between.
