I am running the policy server on a vm (SLES11) but I only gave it 512MB which it seems to be happy with. I don't know what the correlation between concurrent connections and memory usage is for cf-serverd. My cf-serverd also exhibits the same CPU grab when it doesn't segfault. Curiously, this would happen very frequently until I restarted cf-execd.
