Hi All,

First about wiki:

- Wiki is really a final/presentation format in context of
Harbour. Easy to convert _to_, but very difficult to convert
_from_. That makes it a target format rather than a source
  format.
- How to convert wiki page to usable .pdf, .rtf?
- "Wiki" has no standard source format. So we must also choose
one specific implementation, which is usually a never ending
  debate.
- I personally like MediaWiki format f.e., that's what wikipedia
uses, too. Yet many ppl are not familiar even with this one,
and the package is pretty difficult to host anyway.
- Any wiki solution needs to be hosted somewhere.
We had a Wiki on sf.net, but it was slow. We have a Wiki in
Trac on sf.net since years: nobody uses it. Maybe we could
have MediaWiki on sf.net, but results are doubtful. Not to
mention our wikipedia page, which no one touches, and looks
  shameful.
- How to distribute Wiki pages as part of Harbour source
  package?
- If above point is somehow solved, how to easily view it?

I like Wiki very much, but for Harbour doc source it's
not good solution.

BTW, I can't question anybody's intent, but every time
we see a chance for real contribution for documentation,
I see some someone accidentally popping in with
a revolutionary idea (last time we got an offer to buy
one for 30 something thousand dollars). The result was
so far always confusion and fading interest.

So, I'd like to ask prospective contributors to _ignore
these_ and concentrate on our path. It has been said
many times: There will only be a documentation (in any
format, or medium), if someone actually writes them.

There is no other way.

Brgds,
Viktor
