There has been a Harbour Developers forum created on
the Forums.
I'm not sure this is a very good idea, as it will split
development flow and information between this list and
the forum. So, for developers it can mean double effort
to track what's happening and potentially lost or missed
information.
IMO the forums should be for *users* as the its
major purpose. Of course this doesn't mean developers
cannot frequent the forum, but I'd suggest not move
development related discussions there.
Of course opinions are welcome, it's just my 2 cents.
+1
As a hobby *user* I hate to cause "noise" in this list, but have found
it the only way to ask for help in the past.
I would suggest that only a "User" forum be created where users can make
as much "noise" as they want without feeling guilty about disturbing the
work flow on the developer mail list.
As long as the developers keep an eye on the forum and help out as time
allows then it will be a great resource.
I would also suggest closing the user mail list if possible which seems
dead and gives a bad impression, as it will be replaced by the forum.
My 2 cents ;-)
