For participating in the email lists (both bug reports and patch submissions), you only need to send an email. You do not need to create an account on savannah nor subscribe. For subscribing, yes, you need to provide an email (obviously), but you do not need to agree to any legal document (like Codeberg's Terms of Use). So I think your assessment that they are exactly the same is not correct. Tomas -- There are only two hard things in Computer Science: cache invalidation, naming things and off-by-one errors.
