There has been no response of worthwhile tag usage within GnuCash. As I
offered last month, transaction tagging in GnuCash remains a false offering
because the core reporting modules do not adequately support it.

As an active user of the class feature in QuickBooks, I know firsthand how
much it streamlines accounting and the flexible analysis it offers. There
is a real opportunity to be realised by supporting this multi-dimensional
filtering functionality more fully in GnuCash.

You'll find concrete use cases and active community discussion within these
threads I've contributed to:

limitations relegate transaction tagging to a text filtering workaround.
